Tree House Platform
Using paddle tabs supplied by Nelson Treehouse.
Start with the Completed treehouse then click right for progression!

  • Completed Treehouse Platform

  • Up on the platform at night complete with solar fairy string lights and Tiki torches! (also Solar)

  • Drilled and installed 4 Paddle Tabs and beams Courtesy of Nelson Treehouse

  • Added supports for the beams with the beams cantilevered slightly outward, also braced the beams in the interior

  • Added 4 more beams coming out from the braces and also supports

  • Started putting on edge boards and railing posts

  • Started putting the decking down

  • Voila! One completed Treehoue Platform! 1 of 3 to be made will update later!

  • Decided to assemble the frame before it got to heavy with the zip boards

  • Pyramid with zip board finished and painted

  • Installation of rock wall for climbing added

  • Rope added for climbing

  • An easy ladder wall built on the back and railing added to the top for viewing

  • My dad wanted a activity/climbing pyramid for the grandkids. So we built a ten foot pyramid out of 4x4's and 2x6's and zip board with a ladder wall, a rock wall, a rope wall, and one open side.

I built this Coffee table for my parents after their ikea one started to disentegrate. The idea was to make a rustic looking coffee table that was sturdy and could take some wear and tear. Constructed By using 2x4’s, 2x6’s, 2x2’s, and 1x12’s that I then stained by using a combo of black tea and steel wool and vinegar then waxed. I was very pleased with how it came out as evidenced by the poorly taken snapchat pictures.
